This dress in the window of the ultra-expensive Granville Street clothing store Boboli caught my eye because it uses a favourite photo by Vancouver street photographer Greg Girard. The juxtaposition of seventies street life and multi-bucks haute couture is curious. It's a confusing photo, but I like the way the dress image is overlaid with the reflection of the more-than-century-old apartment building at the corner of 12th and Granville. Clash of three time periods.
